Custom Forging & Job Work
Not every buyer needs a catalogue part. Most of our work is made to a customer's drawing, sample or specification, on their material or ours, in batches that suit their schedule rather than our convenience.

Your Material or Ours
Customers who have a preferred mill can supply billets, which we spectro-verify on receipt and process on a conversion basis. Alternatively we procure against mill test certificates from established Indian suppliers and carry the material responsibility ourselves.
Scope You Choose
Take forged and trimmed blanks, or add heat treatment, machining, NDT, surface finishing and export packing — each step is available separately, so you buy exactly the scope your own shop cannot cover.
What We Need to Quote Your Part
Job work quotations turn around quickly when the enquiry is complete. Six items let us price accurately first time; missing any one usually means a round of questions before a number can be issued.
| Item | Why it affects the price |
|---|---|
| Drawing, model or sample | Geometry drives die cost and forging stages |
| Material grade or property target | Sets material rate and heat treatment |
| Batch and annual quantity | Determines how die cost is amortised |
| Applicable specification | Sets testing and documentation cost |
| Scope of supply | Blank, heat treated, machined or fully tested |
| Delivery requirement | Determines scheduling and freight |
Conversion Work on Your Own Material
Customers who have a preferred mill or existing stock can supply billets for conversion. Incoming material is spectro verified on receipt, processed against your heat number and returned with full traceability, so the chain of evidence is unbroken even though the steel was not bought by us. Alternatively we procure against mill test certificates from established suppliers and carry the material responsibility ourselves. Either arrangement works; what matters is agreeing which applies before the order.
- Customer material spectro verified on receipt
- Processed and returned against your heat number
- Or material procured by us against mill certificates
- NDAs signed where drawings are proprietary
Choosing Your Scope of Supply
You can take the work at whatever stage suits your own capacity. Shops with spare CNC capacity often take forged and normalised blanks and finish them themselves, keeping the machining margin. Those whose machining capacity is the constraint take finished, inspected components and remove a supplier interface entirely — along with the argument about whether a dimensional problem originated in forging or machining. See in-house versus outsourced machining.
