Beyond Hooks: Sheaves, Pins and Slew Rings
Cranes also need sheave shafts, boom and bucket pins, connecting links and slew ring blanks — rotating or pinned components where fatigue and wear determine the inspection interval rather than a single proof load. Slew rings are produced as seamless rolled rings up to 1,200 mm outside diameter so grain runs continuously around the circumference.
