Valve Industry Forging
Valve manufacturers buy forgings because a valve is only as good as its pressure boundary. Every part of that boundary — body, bonnet, disc — must be free of the porosity that becomes a leak path under test.

Body and Bonnet Integrity
The pressure boundary must pass hydro test at 1.5 times rating without weeping. Forged construction removes the porosity risk entirely, which is why forged valves dominate high-pressure and critical service applications.
- No porosity in the pressure boundary
- Passes hydro test reliably
- Uniform wall properties
- NDT verified before dispatch
Trim Components
Stems, discs and seats need corrosion resistance plus wear resistance. SS 410 hardened, SS 316 for chloride service and alloy grades for elevated temperature cover most valve trim requirements.
Parts We Supply
Gate, globe, ball and check valve bodies and bonnets, discs and wedges, stems, gland flanges, yoke nuts and end connections in carbon, alloy and stainless grades.
The Pressure Boundary and the Trim
A valve has two distinct material problems. The body and bonnet form the pressure boundary and must be sound and leak-free; the trim — stems, discs, seats — must resist wear and corrosion while sealing repeatedly.
| Component | Typical materials | Governing requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Body and bonnet | A105, F11, F22, F304, F316 | Pressure integrity, no porosity |
| Stem | SS 410 hardened, SS 316 | Wear resistance plus corrosion resistance |
| Disc and wedge | SS 410, hard-faced alloys | Seating wear |
| Gland components | Matched to body material | Sealing and corrosion |
Why Seat-to-Stem Concentricity Decides Sealing
A valve seals when the closure member lands square on its seat. That depends on the relationship between the stem bore and the seating face, not on either dimension alone — which is why the two are machined with concentricity controlled and verified rather than produced independently. Hydro testing of the assembled valve is carried out by the valve manufacturer; our testing covers the component and its pressure boundary.

Questions Answered
Do you supply valve manufacturers?
+
Yes, forged and machined valve components to valve makers across India and export markets.
Can you machine valve bodies completely?
+
Yes, including seat pockets, stem bores and end connections with concentricity verified.
What trim materials do you forge?
+
SS 410 hardened for stems and discs, SS 316 for chloride service, and alloy grades for elevated temperature.
Is hydro testing performed?
+
Component-level NDT is performed at our works; assembled valve hydro testing is done by the valve manufacturer.
